This special event brings together community members of all ages to celebrate Makahiki season, a time-honored Hawaiian tradition of peace, harvest, and unity. Hosted by Waiwai Collective, this free event is open to all, providing a unique opportunity to engage in cultural activities and foster connections across generations.
Free Tech Support for Kupuna: Our Tech Savvy Teens will be offering free, one-to-one tech support for kupuna (elders). Kupuna are encouraged to bring their mobile phones, tablets, or laptops, and our teens will help with everything from setting up apps to understanding social media and online safety. To ensure every kupuna has time to receive individualized support, you can reserve your time slot for tech support by booking online. Walk-ins are also welcome, but reservations are recommended to avoid waiting.

Exciting News: Hawaii's Seniors Empowered Through Tech Savvy Teens Program for Technology Help!
We are thrilled to share that the Tech Savvy Teens program has received a $6,000 grant from the Harold K.L. Castle Foundation through the Ko‘olau Pilina Fund. This initiative aims to bolster community resilience in the Ko‘olau region of Oʻahu and will be instrumental in launching a transformative digital literacy event at Windward Mall.
In collaboration with Kupuna Power, Give Me a Break Foundation, and Acton Academy, this upcoming event is designed to equip our kupuna with valuable digital skills. Through interactive workshops and hands-on training, seniors will learn to navigate and utilize technology to enhance their lives and stay connected with their loved ones.
This initiative underscores our dedication to bridging the digital divide in our community and elevating the technological proficiency of our elders. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Harold K.L. Castle Foundation for their unwavering support and belief in our mission to empower Hawaii's seniors through technology.

We are seeking donations of computers or financial contributions to help cover the costs of providing free IT support for kūpuna. Your generosity will directly fund student stipends for transportation, meals, and equipment, ensuring they can continue offering vital tech assistance to our kūpuna. Together, we can bridge the digital divide and empower both our youth and kūpuna to stay connected in today's world.
Tech Savvy Teens is part of an afterschool workforce development program created and run by Acton Digital Academy, a 501c nonprofit organization based in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
